1959 Austin Healey 100-6
1959 Austin Healey 100-6 BN6 two seat roadster, the biggest change from the 100 to the 100-6 was the BMC “C” engine which was rated at 117hp. The two seater version of the 100-6 was offered in early 1958 and designated as BN6. The BN6 quickly became sought after by the enthusiast due to the lack of the four seat configuration. Due to the limited numbers the BN6 has become more desirable and collectable.
This Austin Healey 100-6 BN6 has been in the same family for approximately 30 years. The car features a wood steering wheel, chrome wire wheels and an overdrive transmission.
The car is finished in Healey Blue with white coves, blue interior and a blue top. This car has been driven sparely over the years and has been maintained by a local British car shop as required. Although an older lacquer paint job it still shows well although there are some imperfections. The underside appears solid and road worthy but in time would benefit from detailing. The interior presents very well along with the top.
This is a fantastic car to buy to get into an Austin Healey at a reasonable price for a driver quality British sports car.
