1931 Ford Model A Coupe
“In the late 1920s and early 1930s, the Ford Model A was one of the most publicized and best-selling cars in America. It was sporty, attractive, well-built, and smooth-running compared to the Model T, which it replaced in the 1928 model year.” -museum of American speed
This 1931 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Coupe is featured in Chicle Drab lower body, French Gray upper body, cream pinstripe with black fenders and is powered by the iconic 201 cubic inch L head inline 4-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission.
In the same family ownership from 1962 to 2024, this 1931 Model A shows very well and had a ground-up restoration performed in 2003 at which point it was shown at MARC (Model A Restorers Club) in Dearborn Michigan and was awarded first place in the Touring Class. Since its restoration, this Model A has been very well treated as evident by the current condition.
The older Firestone Gum Dipped tires are wrapped around yellow painted spoke wheels.
The light brown cloth upholstery is in exceptionally good overall condition with no areas of excessive wear. This 1931 Ford Model A interior features a fold out front window, roll down rear window and seat belts with the best feature being the rear rumble seat.
