1962 Austin Healey 3000 MKII BN7
1962 Austin Healey 3000 MKII BN7 Two Seater Tri-Carb; the two seater tri-carb is a very unique and limited production Austin Healey. It is said that only 355 of these rare Austin Healey's were imported to the United States. The BN7 has three SU HS4 carburetors mated to the 2912CC motor with a 4 speed manual center shift transmission with overdrive.
This Austin Healey has gone through a full mechanical and cosmetic restoration which was recently complete by British Cars R&R; the motor for this car was fully serviced and examined but not rebuilt as the compression was excellent. The exterior of this Austin Healey is finished in the factory correct color of Ivory White. The leather Heritage interior is red with ivory piping. This BN7 came with the following factory options heater, laminated windscreen, wire wheels, overdrive, adjustable steering column, front number plate and road speed tires.
This car is recorded to have the highest BN7 body number (18887), although the highest BN7 chassis number was 18888. Chassis number 18888 does not currently show up in any BN7 registry.
This Austin Healey BN7 has also been shown and awarded at the British Invasion Concours d'Elegance.
