1961 Porsche 356B Super 90
"Porsche designed the 356 with performance in mind. By refining the engine from mid-rear to its eventual rear placement, and tweaking design elements, the 356 was lighter and faster than many of its contemporaries. As the 356 was further refined for performance, it shared fewer parts with its sister car, the Volkswagen Beetle." -- Start World Transportation
This 1961 Porsche 356B Super 90 finished in Ruby Red with Tan interior is in very good overall condition. This Porsche has been driven and enjoyed through the years therefore it is a well sorted car which is ready for the next Porsche Club event or weekend road trip.
This Porsche was believed to have started its life in California then traveling to Hawaii, Massachusetts, Indiana and finally to New Hampshire in 2004 where it has been since.
Although older paint the exterior shows very well overall with a great shine and good depth of finish, unfortunately on one of its road trips the hood opened while driving and dented the front cowl and put a small crease in hood at the hinge points. These areas are identified in the photographs. The tan interior of the car shows very well with no areas of excessive wear.
As shown in the photographs and videos the underside of this Porsche is extremely solid from the floor pans to the longitudinals.
This 1961 Porsche 356B Super 90 is a fantastic car for the Porsche collector or the casual Porsche enthusiast. Either way this is a fun, enjoyable car.
