1969 Shelby GT350
The 1969 model year signaled the end of an era in Mustang production. For all intents and purposes, this would be the last year that any new original Shelby Mustangs were produced. Though both the GT350 and GT500 would be offered for the 1970 model year, each was simply re-VIN numbered 1969 model production cars.
This 1969 Shelby GT 350 was delivered to Sud Automobile Inc. in Longueuil, Quebec Canada and remained in Canada until 2000 at which time it was sold to a buyer in Georgia. A full ownership history is documented for this car. This numbers matching Shelby GT 350 comes with a Deluxe Marti Report as well as a binder of information including the original sales invoice which substantiates its authenticity as well as the original build sheet. A full breakdown of the pertinent numbers is provided at the end of this document.
This Candy Apple Red Shelby with White Clarion interior is a stunning car to look at with its sweeping lines. With some of the paint work actually documented in the Shelby Registry and some remaining original paint this Shelby is for the most discriminating collector. In 2013 this Shelby had an all-inclusive mechanical restoration of the major components such as the motor and transmission as well as the front and rear suspension. At which time the underside and frame were stripped and refinished to a concourse level as can be seen in the pictures and videos.
