At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 980cc, boxer two-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission that can produce a claimed 70 horsepower and 76 Nm of torque.
It boasts features such as laced wheels, a nose-fairing with a windscreen, a large, round headlamp, dual front disc brakes, a rear brake drum, a dual seat, a rear luggage rack, pillion grab rails, a chromed, dual exhaust system and a hydraulic telescopic front fork coupled to dual adjustable shocks as a rear suspension." -cyclechaos.com
This BMW R 100 CS was fully restored in 2019 and has only traveled 850 miles since completion. The numbers matching motor was completely rebuilt as well as many of the mechanical components. This motorcycle was repainted in the original factory colors of Smoke Red with black and gold accent pin striping.
With so few miles since restoration this bike is in like new condition. There is an extensive list of replacement parts recorded from the previous owner.
