1949 Buick Super Convertible
“The 1949 Buick Super Convertible was one of the company's most enduring, influential and prestigious automobiles that has appeared from a blueprint. It rivaled Cadillac on all counts, including its lofty price tag, affordable only for members of the higher tax echelon. Unlike many of today's sterile vacuum of individualistic presence, the 1949 Buick Super reflected the apogee of the post-World War II automotive era. The car drips in curves with well-endowed chrome bumpers and framed by a toothy, cavernous grille.”
This 1949 Buick Super Convertible although an older restoration looks beautiful with its Sequoia Cream paint and Red interior. The body and paint are in very good condition with no dents or scratches and only a few minor chips. The chrome is also in very good condition with no dents or corrosion. The red leather interior has no imperfections and is rich in color. The carpet has no excessive wear or fading. The power windows all work well, as does the black power convertible top that is in like new condition.
This Buick comes with the 248 cubic inch straight-eight engine that runs very well. The engine has been painted and properly labeled like its fresh out of the Flint, Michigan factory. The clutch and brakes work well with very little wear. The undercarriage is clean and rust free.
This Buick Super is ready to go for a long journey or simply to a local cruise night.
