1963 Austin Healey 3000 MK II BJ7
This 1963 Austin Healey 3000 is in excellent condition. The car was restored 2008 – 2010, with all receipts kept as well as extensive photos of the restoration process. A British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certified copy of a factory record is available showing this Austin Healey has matching chassis, engine, and body numbers from when it was made in July and August of 1962, soon to be sold in San Francisco, California.
The factory matching Ivory White body was meticulously restored by Paintworks Unlimited in Dover, New Hampshire. There are no visible imperfections in the body or paint, including the undercarriage. Mechanical work was performed by Brit Bits Inc in Rye, New Hampshire. It was brought back beyond factory condition, using quality parts with a few minor upgrades like the Moss Motors alloy valve covers and the removable carpet flap and plug for easy access to the transmission dip stick.
The car is a pleasure to drive. The all new tan interior is comfortable and in excellent condition. The numbers matching engine runs with no problems and connects to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
This Austin Healey went through a top of the line restoration and has been very well kept since. Any British car connoisseur will appreciate this BJ7 and the condition it is in.
