1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SE Sedan
1969 was the second year of the “New Generation” of upscale Mercedes-Benz known as the S-class. The traditional handcrafted quality of the Mercedes-Benz along with the superior engineering put this automobile in a class by its self.
This 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Sedan is finished in its original color of dark brown/copper exterior with a dark brown MB-Tex interior. The exterior of the car presents well with an older repaint which although starting to show some wear as indicated in the pictures but remains to be a solid everyday driver. The coordinating dark brown interior appears to be mainly original and is in exceptional condition for its age with no excessive wear. The steering wheels has some cracking but nothing unexpected from a car of this vintage.
Our example of the Mercedes-Benz 280 SE is a unique and desirable car as it was ordered with a manual four speed transmission. The lack of factory air conditioning and radio would also appear to be a rarity.
Having recently undergone an extensive mechanical re-fresh this 280 SE is ready to drive and enjoy the sporty feel of the 4-speed manual transmission packaged in an upscale vintage S-class Mercedes.
This vehicle is physically located in Swampscott Massachusetts.
