1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback R-Code

1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback R-Code; by 1968 Ford was getting competition in the Pony car market from the remaining “Big Three” car manufactures. To answer the call in April of 1968 Ford introduced the 428 Cobra Jet engine and made it an available option for the Mustang.

This 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback is finished in a fantastic basecoat clearcoat Acapulco Blue paint with a standard blue interior. This Mustang R-Code had been completely restored prior to its current ownership and remains in very good condition. With its functioning Ram Air hood to the correct exhaust tips this Mustang GT is an exceptional vehicle to look at and drive. The blue interior with excellent overall appearance is highlighted by running the car through its 4-speed manual transmission with the Traction -Lok Differential that keeps you on the road.

This Ford is a fantastic example of a car staying true to its original appearance with a correct restoration. The paint, interior and drivetrain on this Ford Mustang GT Fastback R-Code are in very good condition and would make a great addition to any collection as it is 1 of just 1,299 R-Code Mustangs produced.
