1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
“Few cars rival the C2 Corvette as far as beauty, especially when it comes to American sports cars. The Stingray design was the perfect evolution from the C1, adding a more muscular, aggressive feel to match the respectable performance. This is why so many admire the second-gen Corvettes, but even among those this '66 convertible is something special.” – Motorious
This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible finished in its factory color of Nassau Blue with blue interior and white top has been under the same ownership since the early 70's. This Corvette has been well maintained through-out the years and most recently has had over $16,000 worth of work performed which included a complete motor rebuild by R&L Engines in Dover New Hampshire.
The Nassau Blue paint presents well with a great shine but does have the typical road wear that would be expected with older paint and a car that has been driven and enjoyed. The blue interior upholstery also shows well with no excessive wear, unfortunately a cleaning agent spilled on the carpeting behind the driver's seat and removed the color from that area of carpet.
This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible was well loved and driven with the numbers matching 327 cubic inch 300 horsepower motor as indicated on the engine pad, and three-speed manual transmission. With both hardtop and soft top this Corvette is ready to roll whether you are going to the next show, cruise the back roads or going to bring it to the next level this car is the right choice.
